Post Graduate Programme
  1. Department of Quality Assurance (M. Pharm)

Department of quality assurance was established in the institution in 2007. The department imparts training to aspirants in pharmaceutical quality management, regulatory affairs, GMP, GLP, GCP, validation aspects, modern analytical techniques with on- hand exposure in handling equipments and instruments. The department is enriched with experienced full-time faculty as well as guest faculty from industry background. Aspirants are provided with opportunities to take industrial projects. Scholars work for their projects with the facilities provided at the department laboratories and the well equipped instrument room.

  2. Department of Pharmaceutics (M. Pharm)

Pharmaceutics mainly deals with the development, production and evaluation of pharmaceutical dosage forms and cosmetics. This department has recently been started (in 2008). The department has newly constructed labs with modern amenities. Special focus is on dissolution and stability studies and development of control drug delivery systems. Like the Q. A. Dept., students here also are encouraged to undertake industrial projects. Cosmetology involves development and preparation of cosmetics on the similar lines as for pharmaceuticals. This generally involves exotic topicals without the presence of typical therapeutic agents.
