Academic Excellence

The college has an excellent track record in academic performance by its students. In a nationwide test conducted in Dec 2010 for B. Pharm. students, our students secured 20 of the top 100 positions. Our students have regularly been holding 60-70% of the top 10 positions in the university examinations. More than 80 students in last three years have qualified GPAT/GATE, the national level examination for fellowship in Post-Graduate studies in India. The college is also represented routinely at country's premier most research institute, NIPER. More than 80 of students from last three years are pursuing higher studies abroad, mostly in prestigious institutes of USA.

An initiation into research and presentation skills is an integral part of higher education. We have been fortunate enough to motivate even our undergraduate students to present some 30-odd papers in national level conferences like IPC in last three years. We also have more than 50 papers published in various journals of national and international repute by our faculty during this period.

Discussions and lectures by experts from the field of Pharmacy is an integral part of improving any institute's repertoire. The college has been striving hard to do this by including guest faculty from Pharma industry and research organizations. We have eminent persons from Cadila, Torrent, Zydus, Sun, Alkem etc. frequently visiting us as guest faculty and enriching our students with their knowledge of the latest in the field. The college also puts a lot of emphasis on all-round development of the personality and inculcation of values amongst its subjects. There are guest faculties from such diverse fields as value education, yoga, alternative teaching and motivational science.

No organization can deny its social commitments. We have conducted four refresher courses, benefiting 200 pharmacists of the region. We are the only institute in whole of Gujarat to achieve this feat.
