    • Provides the sound knowledge of plant taxonomy, plant breeding, plant pathology and plant genetics which is helpful in development of cultivation techniques for medicinal and aromatic plants.
    1. Pharmacognosy Lab I & II: >
      • Meant to familiarize students about various plant families with charts and photographs of crude drug for morphological studies.
      • Enriched with specimen of various medicinal plants.
      • Concerns with chromatographic techniques like Thin layer chromatography (TLC) and Paper chromatography (PC) for the identification of phytoconstituents
      • Includes quantitative microscopy.
